About the event
Come join us for a fun and hands-on weaving class in Eugene! In this introductory class, we will learn to weave a lightweight and practical basket for foraging, market trips, and everything in between. We will craft a leather strap for comfortable cross-body or shoulder carrying. No basketweaving or leather working experience necessary - all skill levels are welcome! Price includes all materials. There will be a couple of different fiber colors available to choose from, so you can add your own personal flair to your basket. The bulk of the basket will be a light brown color, with options to customize the rim or add a stripe or two of color to the body.
